October is Vegan MoFo

And we’re off to a running start. We’re up in Milwaukee for the Lakefront Marathon. Race time is 7:30. We all went to the Pasta Shop in Port Washington to celebrate Anne’s 50th birthday.

I baked a running shoe cake. One layer of vanilla with peanut butter frosting and a second layer of chocolate cookies and cream with Newman O’s peanut butter cookies. It was delicious!

    I LOVE it and I’m wondering why the fork I haven’t made peanut butter frosting before!!??

    Nice job! The cake looks great. I run my first ever marathon in a week, wish I could have a cake like that for a recovery meal :-)
